What’s cooler than ice cream? Learning the science behind it! Join us for a tasty experiment as we explore the chemistry and physics that turn simple ingredients into a frozen treat. We’ll demonstrate how to make ice cream in a Ziploc bag, uncover the role of salt and temperature, and break down what makes ice cream smooth and scoopable. Then, enjoy a sweet reward and cool off with some ice cream of your own! This program is suitable for teens ages 12-18. It will be facilitated by library staff.
