ASL Family Community

Children and Teens (and you can bring your parents too!) will learn practical, everyday ASL that can be used to support inclusive communication and emotional connection with the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) community. In addition to learning ASL vocabulary, participants will be introduced to a Deaf culture and a brief overview of Deaf history, which provides an opportunity to learn respectful communication habits, and understanding and appreciation for Deaf experiences.
