Open Air Studio

Bring your art materials and settle into the landscape. Paint, sketch, or journal while surrounded by the beauty of Bernheim Forest and Arboretum . This program gathers artists who enjoy working outdoors and deepening their plein air practice alongside others. There’s no formal instruction, just time and space to explore. Each session begins with a short hike to a featured location, selected by artist and volunteer naturalist Teresa Koester, where you’ll spend several hours immersed in your work
