Job Carr Storytime in Old Town Park

The Summer Storytime series brings local picture book authors to Old Town Park for a read-aloud and children's activity. These free community events are held on Thursdays at 10am. Books will be available for purchase from the author. On 6/25, we kick off our Summer Storytime series with author Tanishia Bennett, plus a special art activity with our friends from Tacoma Art Museum! On 7/9, Tacoma native Bonita Lee shares her picture book Go On Lil' Sista Go On. This event includes a craft activity!
