Escape from Shell

Join our Seasonal Naturalist as we talk about how Cephalopods went from the armored forms of the past to the shell free squids and octopuses of today. This program showcases fossils from the Ordovician up to the end of the Cretaceous period. At the end we will uncover the modern Cephalopods that still have their prehistoric shells! 1 hour. Meets in the rotunda. $7.00 program fee is covered by a grant from the Falls of the Ohio Foundation (includes admission to the exhibit gallery).
