@ Free with admission or membership The lotus is a beautiful symbol of summer, but did you know it also holds an important place in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)? The lotus plant (Sacred Lotus) has long been used in traditional Chinese medicine. Nearly every part of the plant has medicinal value, including the flower, leaf, seed, lotus plumule, root, and rhizome node. They are especially popular during hot summer seasons or for people experiencing irritability, heaviness, or rich/oily diets
