An archaeologist is a scientist who uses artifacts to tell a story about the past. They go on digs to find new information and artifacts to bring back to a lab to study. Participants will simulate the process of archaeological excavation as they “excavate” the chocolate chips or raisins in cookies. They will also practice or learn coordinate graphing as well as learning about tools and archeology terms.
