Austin Cactus & Succulent Society July Meeting

@ Endemic Cacti and Succulents of the Galapagos Islands The presentation will include a primer on the geological and human history of the Galápagos archipelago and what makes it such a unique floral ecosystem. There will be sections (with photos) on the habitat and ecological roles of the three cactus species (Opuntia galapageia, Brachycereus nesioticus, and Jasminocereus thouarsii) endemic to the islands, plus some smaller sections on non-cactus succulents.
