Your Vote, Your Voice
Presented by Voter Rights Network of Wyandotte County, "Your Vote, Your Voice” is a 1-1/2 hour run-down of the nuts and bolts of elections in Kansas (and Wyandotte County).
Attendees will learn about registering to vote, looking up a ballot, the registration deadline, available voting methods, when, where, and the times to vote, required forms of ID, and available voting options. Voting accessibility issues, which can be barriers to voting, will also be discussed.
Plus, there will be an update on mail-in ballot issues in Wyandotte County and, more recently, nationwide, due to the new US Postal Service rule. There will be voter registration forms and other voter education handouts for those attending.
