  • Description: Mathematician Ada Lovelace worked with Charles Babbage on his “Analytical Engine” in 1843. Inspired by weaving machines at the time, she theorized the Analytical Engine might be able to follow patterns to perform a task, making her the first person to envision computing languages! Use numbers to weave patterns as she imagined.

  • Description: 3, 2, 1—Meet Ada Lovelace, called the Enchantress of Numbers. Use floating ring magnets to explore attraction, repulsion, and the ideas behind how computers store data.
