About Chef Shobha Swamy
Shobha Swamy is passionate about health and wellness. After 25 years in the automotive engineering field, she discovered her passion for regaining vibrant health through food choices and decided to change careers.
She is certified in plant-based nutrition through the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies at Cornell University and is also a certified Food for Life instructor through the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. She has worked as a plant-based cooking instructor for Dr. Jennifer Rooke’s 12-week Lifestyle Intervention classes at Morehouse School of Medicine.
Shobha actively promotes minimally processed, nutrient-dense, plant-based diets. She takes a holistic approach to nutrition and well-being, focusing on sustainable lifestyle changes for individuals and organizations to help build stronger, healthier communities.
She advocates for taking control of our health through a simple, accessible way of eating that can help prevent and reverse chronic diseases, rather than resigning ourselves to hereditary factors.
