True Crime Podcast Discussion Club

Do you love true crime? Join us for a true crime podcast discussion club! Twice a month, we’ll meet virtually to discuss a few episodes of a true crime podcast, share our favorites, and get recommendations. Over the next few weeks, we'll be discussing Season 1 of Bear Brook , a cold case investigation into the identities of four forgotten victims in New Hampshire and the killer who hid them, and how the case transformed modern forensic science.

Here's what episodes we'll be discussing at each meeting: September 21: Episodes 1 and 2 October 5: Episodes 3 and 4 October 19: Episodes 5 and 6 November 2: Episodes 7 and 8 November 16: Episodes 9, 10, and 11 Listen here or on Apple or Spotify .

This program is for adults 18 and up due to mature themes, violence, and adult language that may be in the podcasts. These podcasts may contain triggering themes and may feature content warnings. Spoiler prevention: If you listen to episodes beyond the week's assigned episodes, please do not reveal details during our discussion to prevent spoilers!

This program will be provided by North County and Matthews library staff. How to Join an Online Program This event takes place on Zoom. Please register by 5:00 p.m. the day before the event. You’ll receive an email with a link to the secure Zoom meeting about 24 hours before the meeting.
